The New Canon 5Ds & 5DsR

My thoughts on the new Canon 5Ds & 5DsR which have canon's new 50 MP sensor in them. The 5DsR is pretty much like the same thing between the D800 & D800e. So is it really worth selling all my Nikon stuff to get the new 5DsR? Well in my opinion no because there are really no lenses that will support the 50 MP sensor. Like I have both the D810 and the D800 and they are both using Sony's 36.3 MP sensor and there are really no lenses that will let u utilize the 36.3 MP that the Nikon offers. So for that reason I will not be upgrading to the new canon 5DsR, I am very happy with my Nikon gear. And I know that sometime either by the end of this year or this time next year Nikon will be coming out with it's own 50 mp sensor and since I already have a bunch of money invested in lenses and other things I will stay where I'm at. But let me know what your guys thoughts on this issue are.

I am ready for Spring

I can't wit until springtime for real and overall we have had a very mild winter. For the first 2 months it seemed like it was closer to 60 for most of Nov, Dec & Jan then it was to 30. But I have a feeling that this last month of winter is going to be snowy and cold. But still it's February 21 so March is almost here, over all I'm really not complaining about the weather this winter. But when u lived in San Diego, CA for 5 years and then come back to Springfield, MO you'll understand what I'm saying. Anyways I was bored and thought I would make a blog about the weather. So those are my thoughts on the weather so far this winter.

3/28/15 Texas Invitational Drag Racing

I am looking forward to the end of March on the 28th for the 2015 Texas Invitational drag race  wars. It is a 1/2 Mile strip out at a Airport down in Houston, TX where there will be the Fastest street cars from across the United States. There will be 2,000 WHP Nissan Skyline GT-Rs, 2,000 WHP Lamborghini Gallardo Twin Turbos, 1,500 WHP Twin Turbo Corvettes, 1,200 WHP Twin Turbo Trans Am's, 1,500 WHP Twin Turbo Toyota Supra's and pretty much anything and everything that you can think of that's fast will  be there. I intend to take some pictures of the cars and their setups and also I am going to mount my Go Pro on some cars and get some great video footage of the cars making the 1/2 mile pass. So it should be a lot of fun and I can't wait until 3/28/15 down in Houston, TX

2015 Dallas, TX Trip

I am going to be taking a trip to Dallas, TX very soon to get some great City scape shots and some great landscape shots. The whole purpose of the trip is to build on the portfolio, and that we will be doing. I can't wait to go back to Dallas cause I used to live there back in 2000-2001. So I know my way around like the back of my hand and know all of the hot spots to go and get the best pictures the Dallas, TX has to offer.
